FREE BATTERY REPLACEMENT
In the event the battery becomes unserviceable (not merely discharged) Warehouse Battery Outlet, Inc. will replace the battery on a free replacement basis applicable to the particular battery.
WAREHOUSE BATTERY OUTLET LIMITED WARRANTY
This limited warranty applies to the original consumer purchase. The warranty period begins on the date of purchase. Adjustments are computed from the date of purchase to the date the battery is presented to Warehouse Battery Outlet, Inc. for warranty consideration.
LIMITED WARRANTY & ADJUSTMENT POLICY DOES NOT APPLY TO:
1. Recharging of discharged only batteries caused by defective electrical or charging systems or batteries taken out of service and not properly maintained or the free usage of rental or loaner batteries. 2. Batteries with damaged containers, covers, or terminals. 3. Batteries that have been abused because of overcharging caused by defective charging systems or batteries that have been installed or charged in reverse. 4. Batteries that fail because they were used in applications for which they are not designed nor recommended by the vehicle manufacturer. 5. Batteries that fail because of misuse, neglect, improper installation, fire, wreckage, breakage, freezing, accidents, or explosion. 6. Batteries which have been disassembled and/or tampered with or altered in any way. 7. LOSS OF USE OF THE VEHICLE, LOSS OF TIME, INCONVENIENCE, OR OTHER INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. LIABILITY IS HEREBY LIMITED TO REPLACEMENT OR REPAIR OF THE BATTERY ONLY. No implied warranty of merchantability of fitness for particular purpose shall remain in effect for longer than the duration of the applicable Limited Warranty and adjustment period set forth herein. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state."
Our Story
History
Warehouse Battery Outlet, Inc. (WBO) was founded by Ralph Ruth in 1985. Originally located on route 309 in Quakertown, PA, the business started out selling and distributing Automotive, Commercial, Lawn and Garden, and Marine batteries. By 1992 the product offering expanded into all types of batteries for every application. In 1995, Ralphs’ son, entered the business and began to transform the business from a primarily retail oriented establishment, to a wholesale and retail distributorship. Since then more of Ralph’s family including his son-in-law, daughter-in-law, and daughter came on board, and have helped to facilitate the growth of the business.
As a result, in 2001 WBO purchased a larger facility on 14th St. in Quakertown, one block east of their original location. That allowed for the continued growth of the company. In the years that followed WBO has grown to become one of the largest independent battery distributors in the Mid-Atlantic region. WBO’s product offering has increased to encompass all types of batteries for every application including: cellular, and cordless phone, computer backup, laptop computer, sealed lead acid, medical, floor scrubber, forklift, golf cart , and two way radio batteries to name a few. In addition to selling and distributing batteries WBO invested in technology and equipment to allow them to rebuild rechargeable battery packs such as drill packs as well as build custom battery packs for any need, including prototype packs for military use. WBO’s growth has resulted in the development of a very large and diverse customer base; ranging from individuals, corporations, contractors, golf courses, fleets and trucking companies, to government and municipal customers including school districts, fire and police departments and the US military.
As a result of our increased volume over the years, WBO’s superior buying power allows us to provide, to our customers, the most competitive pricing in the industry today.
In 2011 WBO embarked on an expansion of their facility which resulted in the addition of 8,100 square feet of additional warehouse space, bringing the total facility to approximately 13,000 square feet of warehouse and retail space. WBO is now poised to take advantage of the ever increasing need for batteries in the fast paced, increasingly portable, world in which we live.
